Unravel the mystery of a Midwestern town that lures anyone who enters into a trap. As residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive threats from the surrounding forest. The site, known as “Beaver Bank Villa,” has a long history, and many years ago housed housing units, a community center, fire station, school, church, grocery store, etc. (all demolished by 2004) to support workers building a nearby military radar base that was in operation in the 1950s and 1960s. Only the paved streets and driveways remained, upon which a man-made town was constructed. When Boyd enters the distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. A rope is lowered to him. When Boyd emerges from the well, only Martin is in the room, chained to the wall. Martin did not drop the rope. Appears in Half in the Bag: 2022 Mid-Year Catch-Up Part 1 (TV Shows) (2022). Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans, performed by The Pixies. Much better than I thought it would be based on some of the negative reviews here. So good that I watched the first two seasons over a long weekend. Can’t wait for season 3 to come out. A great premise for a show with some similarities to series like Lost and Wayward Pines, but different enough that I didn’t feel like I was watching the same show. I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes horror/mysteries with a bit of gore. Very enjoyable and fun to watch. I just hope there will be more seasons, or at least enough that we get answers to all the questions I still have. One of the best series I’ve seen in a long time.
