His screen time was completely drowned out by the replay of the ridiculous family itself, and in combination with the ridiculous storyline, you come to the point that you will sooner walk on hot coals than see the end. His co-star Hunter King did not become a real fool in the role of a romantic hero.

Hines had much better relationships with other actresses who were more believable in his previous films. I hope Hines gets more films in the same vein as It Was Always You, because this film didn’t do him any good.
