While searching the depths of an abandoned space station, a group of young space colonists come across the most terrifying life form in the universe. See how the Alien franchise movies are ranked, according to IMDb user reviews. Director Fede Alvarez turned to the special effects team from Alien 2 (1986) to work on the creatures. Physical sets, practical creatures, and miniatures were used wherever possible to aid in the later visual effects work.
The logo itself suffers a burst of static and turns green
When Rain turns off the ship’s gravity and shoots all the aliens, all of their blood hangs in the air in long, stain-like patterns. Zero gravity in real life causes liquids to form into spherical shapes, not spread out in long, flat clumps like in the movie. Andy: The solution for a claustrophobic astronaut is to give him more space. The 20th Century Studios fanfare freezes and becomes ominous, like in Alien 3 (1992), leading into the film’s opening scene.

The Death of Theatres – The Real BBC @MauLer @HeelvsBabyface (2024). Saw it last night and was quite disappointed. There was a lot of hype for it. In reality, it’s just another run-of-the-mill Alien movie that we really didn’t need.
A carbon copy
Predictable and shallow plot and characters. Some parts made me laugh out loud and not in a good way. It’s literally a facsimile of the first two films in look, feel and tone. Yes, there were some new moments that were interesting, but moments don’t make a movie.
We don’t need more movies
The ending was also a complete miss, something we’ve already seen in Alien Resurrection. This is the same story for Terminator. Everything that needs to be said has already been said in the first two films. Whether it’s exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are the essence of science fiction.
